Willamette Valley Wineries Association   The fertile Willamette Valley is the largest and best-known wine producing area in Oregon, home to more than 130 wineries and tasting rooms. Recognized as one of the premier Pinot noir producing areas in the world, it rivals the best in Burgundy.  Touting 2/3 of Oregon's vineyards, most Willamette Valley wineries are located conveniently within an hour's drive from Portland.
